Daniel Cota, head of the Othernet and founder of both FrameCast and DrawCast has recently made some very questionable decisions. Namely, he has decided to entangle DrawCast and FrameCast with Non-Fungible Tokens (abbreviated as NFTs).The people of FrameCast and DrawCast had found his Twitter on December 22nd of 2021 through this tweet in which he teased a “DrawCast NFT” alongside his personal NFT project, 200keys.Daniel Cota then rereleased DrawCast, but with a twist. Not only was it an “NFT art gallery” now, but there was also no social media half of it. It shared the name with DrawCast, and yet both the concept and interface looked completely different. Plain and simply, he was looking to re-market DrawCast back to his existing demographic, which largely consisted of minors.This is scummy as all hell. The best thing to do is to review bomb the new DrawCast app by getting everyone you know to flood it with 1 star reviews in order to get it taken off the App Store.Contact Madisongs#1718 on Discord if you feel any updates need to be made.
